Don’t Mind Me… Just Rebuilding With God
Allowing God to order my steps in this season has been hard. As someone used to relying on my own understanding, handing over the reins has been nothing short of an act of obedience.
Last year, I didn’t understand why God told me to “sit down.” I didn’t understand why He led me into a season of feeling my emotions rather than intellectualizing them. And I definitely didn’t understand why He wanted me to weave faith and womanhood into finances.
But now? It’s starting to make sense.
• He told me to “sit down” because I was doing too much—working against both my prayers and His will for my life.
• He made me feel my feelings so I could truly understand them—and better understand the women I’m called to serve.
• He told me to integrate faith and womanhood into finances because the compartmentalization of these areas is why so many of us feel stuck, lost, or like we’re always starting over. These aspects are meant to work together to build legacies.
This season of rebuilding isn’t easy, but it’s necessary. And I’m learning that obedience—even when it doesn’t make sense—brings clarity and peace in its own time.
What’s God rebuilding in your life?
