At times, we might find ourselves questioning, "Am I really on the right path?" The truth is, following God's assignment isn't always clear-cut. I've personally struggled with moments of self-doubt and fear, but I've found that these uncertainties are part of the growth process. When everything seems to be falling apart, it often signals that we are purging excessive self-reliance and learning to lean more on God. As Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
A New Perspective on Finances
One of the significant areas I’ve had to rework is my relationship with finances. Having spent over 15 years in the finance industry, I've been taught to see money in black and white—budget, save, invest. But God nudged me to view finances differently, not just as a means for personal comfort but as a tool for discipline and advancing His kingdom. It’s been a challenging transition, but acknowledging God in all aspects of my finances has brought a new meaning to managing resources.
Sometimes this shift has felt messy, but Matthew 6:33 encourages us: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” It reminds me to prioritize God's plans over my own, trusting that He will provide, even when the numbers don’t add up perfectly. In those moments, I clung to Psalm 68:6: “God sets the lonely in families; He leads out the prisoners with singing.” This verse reminds us that, even in isolation, God is orchestrating the right connections and setting us up for greater things. Trust Over Self-Reliance
Trusting God over my abilities has been a difficult yet rewarding process. There were instances where God's call didn't align with my understanding, yet obeying His word led to unexpected blessings. It’s about building a foundation on God, rather than worldly principles. Proverbs 3:5-6 has been a lifeline for me: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
I encourage you to take small steps of trust each day. Whether it’s in your career, relationships, or finances, invite God into your plans and be open to His guidance, even if it doesn’t make immediate sense.

Courage Through Self-Doubt
Doubting ourselves is common, especially when no one else sees our vision. I've battled with self-doubt and sought validation from others, delaying my progress.
